In between doing housework & welding work we put the pots in various secret places to see what we might get. The kowari which lives in our shed and keeps the mice population down has eaten holes in some of our nets (we think that's what did it) - so only had a few opera nets we could use.
Hope this picture come through - will try anyhow.Image Could Not Be Found

Bruce, they'd be nice on your fresh bread - I made some today as well. (Also made chicken soup to go with the fresh bread - trouble is you want to eat the whole lot while it's hot).
We could put some yabbies on your fresh bread.

Cold down your place today? Freezing here - cold lazy southerly blowing on from your place. Gotta go check the pot again - think going to make a little pasta with fresh herbs from the garden, plenty of black pepper, creamy sauce with fresh yabbies cooked in broth (the way my old mate from Gondola on the Murray taught me) - and a nice glass of something.

Fire going in the lounge and cold outside. Am part wayy through adding to the ceiling insulation. Pity the biulder said it was no advantage adding it when we built those years ago.

So you know that "independent" candidate? We went to that restaurant one night and the waitress tried to tell our vego friend that she should eat chicken - or so chef said! The one place where you think we are so far from the sea we could get local produce we were fed oysters, crab bisque and mussels in successive courses. Never forgiven him for that night, so never bothered going back.

Hey Toonfish! Where on earth have you been? It's been ages and ages.
I knew Stefano didn't do any good in the Elections - still waiting to have my long regional lunch there with him. I need another houseboat trip.
Nothing wrong with good crays! Those yabbies we had last night were sweet as a nut - plenty of meat in the nippers also.
Don't be such a stranger.

sorry to hijack the post yes i am still here lurking aroung dont have much to say apparently!
like the saying better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open your mouth and alleviate any doubt!!!!!!!!!!

sure wish we could make Innaminka but new jobs baby and lack of funds make it out of our reach for the time being
have fun!
