Hi Mike

Coalseam is not a bad place to stay, there should be some water in the river to. At the Murchison road house there are $2 showers and fuel is a bit cheaper than Mt Augustus. Have a good holiday.

Bilung Pool north of the Murchison Settlement would be a good place to camp, there is plenty of open space and the pool is lined with some nice gums

Hope the swollen rivers out that way don't cause you any problems? You see tonight's news?

Just as you cross the Murchison there's a track to the right that follows the river with some nice flat sections to camp. Pretty spot.

The old boiler at Murchison Settlement roadhouse is real laugh a minute.....ask old Vinegar Tits if she's heard any good jokes lately and see what response you get.

Check out fuel prices at Burringarra aboriginal settlement to the west of the rock, last time they were significantly better than Mt Augustus. The shop sometimes sells frozen roo tails too.
