Hi all, the upcoming National Gathering in South Australia is fine if you have the time and funds to get there, but for us mere mortals that are unable to do so, Im just putting out a few feelers towards an overnight gathering on the weekend of July 19/20th.
Boyagin NR is situated approx 50 kms south of
Beverley and 17 kms NW of
Pingelly.
The
camp area is suitable for caravans, trailers and tents. Firewood is plentiful,
toilets are basic but clean, no water is available at the site.
Hope to meet some names, drive a few tracks and clink some glasses around a warm
camp fire.
If anyone is interested Ill put it on the Trips/Gatherings section when I get
home from work tonight.
Cheers....Lionel.

Sounds great. Thats the weekend before we head off to the centre so will have to
check with SHMBO and see what she thinks, but would definitely like to be there.

Hey Matt, Paula wants to play barmaid for the gathering.
She reckons she can pour a mean beer for the Nissan boys but will have to practice making 'skim milk sugar free Latte's for the Tojo crowd.........hehehe.
Cheers mate......Lionel.

I'll have to
check but that will be the weekend after I get
home and I suspect I'd be in deep >>it if I went. Also think I've got a work do on the Saturday night.
Go on change weekends to the next one. LOL
Bugger why are all these meet-ups on weekends when I'm busy.
Keep an eye out for the September trip to the
Holland Track which I'll post an invite to.

Gee lionel, i will be back from my holidays but i have to go to quairiding for my stepdaughters 30th.
I dont know the choice is difficult, i mean between 150kg kilos in a pink size 8 g string in freezing conditions, or lots of beer in a warm country pub with probably a size 8 skimpy.
Alan

Sounds like a great idea, SWMBO reckons it will be something different (?)

Lionel, sounds good. I desperately need to get away for a night and it's nice and close to
home....perfect!
I have a 5 week old baby so it will be entirely dependant on SWMBO for a 'ticket of leave' on the 19th (still a bit early to take her at the moment). I'll have to remain pencilled in at this stage rather than being a definite attendee.
