Thanks to all that replied to original thread. Have to report you were all correct and I gave them a bum deal. Evakool's follow up is excellent, they were away at this time so unable to reply to original request. They have a 5 year warrenty and will replace the damaged handles/hinges no problems at no cost. In anybodys book that is great customer service. Regards Tony.

Good on ya mate for correcting the thread,I thought when i saw the thread that it was very unsual...I have there products and they hav been more than helpful on a couple of occasions...
