So, after 36 hours of steady rain at Well 15, the clouds finally moved on and the tracks dried very quickly. Travelling through to Culvert Range saw crystal clear blue skies and a beautiful 30 degrees. There are signs up stating permission is required to enter, but luckily we had this sorted prior to arrival.

With the rain, the birds have come and wild flowers are appearing everywhere! It is the Canning at it's best.

Tonight we are at Durba Springs with a full moon in the sky. We haven't seen another vehicle since last Friday and we are enjoying the peace and tranquility.

Despite the rain, water levels are low and if you are heading this way soon, I 'd suggest you bring your own timber.

That's all for now ~ the damper smells like it is cooked so I'd better take it out of the fire.

Wayne.
