Looking for a 4by for son. Come accross a nh in very good condition with a reco motor but needs gearbox overhaul. Can any Paj owners give me a ballpark fig to reco gearbox. Thank you

My B/Inlaw had the box in his Paj recond a couple of years ago for about $1800.00, i seem to recall there was some issues with 5th gear in these boxes, might pay you to actually talk to someone who knows about this first...afterall you dont really want any expensive surprises....

The vehicle is only $3500 so if it cost up to $ 2500.00 it would be a good buy.

Sounds like too much - there's one available for nix on the Canning - needs a new clutch and a few other things like wheel nuts.
