Has anyone been there lately? We are thinking of heading over there from Darwin in about three weeks time, with an offroad van (a Kedron 18 foot internal size). And we will be going into Gregory NP too. We have been to Gregory NP in the past and the road was absolutely fine then so assume it is now too.Well worth seeing that area.

ChrisVal7,

I was at Keep River NP about a year ago, you wont be disappointed it is one of the best kept NP secrets in Oz, the rock cravings and paintiings are really good, from memory there are two or three reasonably good campsites to be had, we had a Cavalier CT in tow, and had no problems.

Enjoy.

Hi mate,

I was there last year. The only problem is that people dig in at the campsites. We turned up as a group of two vehicles with camper trailers and had to go to Lake Argyle because there wasn't any available campsites. We turned up around lunch and the vans in locations were all set up with sat dishes. We walked around for a while, but I must admit Lake Argyle at sunset was a good runner up!!

Cheers

Dave
