Obviously Lawn Hill Gorge, but stay at Adels Grove and then take the track through to Kingfisher Camp

A few more pics here

Butterfly Springs was truly lovely, we camped with 14ft van on a Triton, however I believe this site is not for extra long campers. There are toilets and we swam mid-May 07. It is situated within Limmen National Park and there were both overseas visitors and Aussie campers there. We first camped at Roper Bar Store camp-ground and travelled to Borroloola, spending one night along the Savannah Way at Butterfly Springs. We also checked out the other 'Lost City' you can drive to, (not the southern one you can fly over) along the way.

After leaving Borroloola we continued along the Savannah Way, stopping for the night on the other side of the Robinson River, only because we helped a bloke in strife. All ended well there, thank goodness. Then we stayed the night at his property before spending the next night at 'Hell's Gate". No fuel now, just camping.

Travelled through, stopping at Doomadgee for fuel, the side-tracking towards Lawn Hill. Unfortunately we then had to spend the night 30 km out of Doomadgee due to broken axle.

The RACQ came from Normanton and were fantastic. Carried out temporary repair and we headed off to stay at Adeles Grove.Good campsite, beautiful gorge at Lawn Hill, but keep your walking shoes on.

Had to detour to Mt. Isa for more permanent repairs, then travelled to Normanton via Cloncurry on the Burke & Wills Developmental Road.
