Hilux 95 on srs airbag light

has anyone had trouble with the airbag light coming on?we have and was charged $1152 to replace spiral cable in steering wheel.have since found several more in our area,is it common around australia ?

You have posted 95 on but did you mean 2005 onwards ???

It is not uncomon but $1152 seems a lot

What was the breakup of your invoice for parts & labour & was it only the spiral cable that was replaced

Don, the major part of the account, labour$607.50 ,part $425.99,

Was the diagnosis & repair carried out at a toyota dealer or elsewhere ??
