Has anyone been through there lately?
I have a F/G slide on camper ,same width as the landcruiser tray which is 6ft or 1.8m and it is 8ft or 2.4 m high overall.
I just wanted to know if I am likely to wipe out my camper on the trees.

Ross went through there in April. Couple of narrowish spots but nothing vehicle destroying. Most of the bad spots have been burtnt out so access is now
well and truly clear. Need to be mindful that some patches can be very wet. We encountered some quite boggy sections but fortunately there are alternative tracks around the worst. If that area has had prolonged rain the track will be impassible untill dry.
Enjoy your trip we did.

Hi
Ross,
I went through there by mid of May. Was a very nice run, wonderful nature, although a large section is terribly burnt out. We did not encounter any difficulties. Some deep mud holes, but detours around the worst ones. No worries in dry weather, but don't do the
Holland Track after rain! It will certainly become a mud hell.
The track is quite narrow in some
places, but we did not scratch the vehicle too badly - did the trip with a Troopy Pop-Top Camper. Due to the large burnt out sections the problems with growth into the track are minimised.
There is a small booklet with track notes for both the
Holland Track and the
Cave Hill Woodlines, which can be purchased, e.g. at the tourist info in Kalgoorlie. Was very helpful, as signposting is not too
well if you go from
Coolgardie towards
Hyden.
Enjoy your trip!
Cheers from bloody boring Dortmund/Germany,
Juergen (still 85 bloody days until I return to Oz, this time for the
Talawana Track and some of Len Beadell's wonderful bomb roads)
