So I think the Martians have taken my husband and replaced him with a sentative new age guy! His descriptions of the beauty of the Canning have been getting more and more...feminine! lol

They're at Well 30 now (one Well behind schedule) and experiencing very windy conditions. A recent dust storm has sifted the sands and left the track quite soft in places.

He tells me the spinifex are gloriously silver tipped and beckon you over every dune... (do you see what I mean?? :-)

Holly Grevileas line the tracks and reach higher than the vehicle enveloping them in the greenery and wildlife abounds after the beauty of the rains.

He keeps harping on about the full moon over the dunes each night (it's been full for a week now!) but it all sounds amazingly serene...

I'm glad they're having a great time :-)

(Wayne's wife)

Hi Wayne's Wife, The CSR can surely grab at you!!!!!!!!!!!! When hubby and I did the trip we had a full moon at Durba Springs, what a magic sight in a magic place. It was also wet when we did it in Aug 2005 and the toilet was still in one piece. LOL

Glad all is going well.

Cheers

D

I'd say that he has either hit his head or is on drugs OR he has either going to or has already bought something which cost a lot and he is softening you up......; )

You are probably close with the second statement ~ I know he had to replace his HF radio and that cost an arm and a leg...

**wonders if he's heading anywhere near the Argyle Diamond Mine soon**

G'day Waynes wife. I can only say that it is your fault that he is out there and you are left at home. If you hadn't taught him to cook, he would have had to take you with him if only just to keep him fed.
Thanks for the updates.
