North of
Bundaberg,On the edge of Baffle
Creek near the southern
boundary of Deepwater Nation
Park. Excellent spot and the Caravan
Park is for sale.If the clowns running Qld decide to go ahead with the DAM on Baffle
Creek it will be another Paradise lost. Not to many brain cells in
Brisbane when it comes to
Water storage.

My son has bought 40 acres at Baffle
Creek,I haven't had a chance to have a fish there yet,how was the fishing in Baffle
Creek itself, what did you catch ,any decent sized fish.
The crabbing there is said to be pretty good also did you have a lash at the crabs?.

G,Day Geoff 43, We got Bream [undersise Cod , Sweetlip and Grunter] and a good feed of FlatHead which included a personal best of 63.5 cm. As for crabs got some massive numbers and sizes of jennies but only a few keeper bucks. All in all was great. Cheers, Troopytrek

Nice place untouched by hustle and bustle. Did you go for a drive to deepwater and onto 1770.

We did go alone the Deepwater track into 1770 with some people who had not ever taken there four wheel drive off the bitumen also managed to convince them to enter onto Ruhles Beach for the drive to
Mitchell River mouth they said it was the best experience of there trek so far.
