GPS info a great book

Hi all , as a novice in the area of computers GPS and oziexplorer I have been looking for all the info I can find I have just got my copy of ..GPS Vehicle Navigation In Australia .. I brought it from this sites shop ..I must say that it is the best book I have found so far , it is written in plain english and easy to follow , there is also a web site just on the book worth having a look at it is listed in the back of the book with other web site worth a visit , for all those like me that have been pulling their hair out trying to come to grips with it all get the book ( no I am not on a commision its just a great book)Born to drive a 4x4 , not a keyboard

does it explain in plain english how to set up moving maps as i am leaving on trip in 4 weeks and am struggling for time to try and laern in that time.i have got the lap top the maps and the temp version of ozi but finding time between work and play is a real problem (and a mag 310 gps)

Hi GOB yes it does have a good section on moving maps it will tell you about recording tracks etc and uploading them to the GPS have a look at the web site on the book it has a list of what each chapter is about,have a good tripBorn to drive a 4x4 , not a keyboard
