This is probably the wrong way to report a problem to David, but I don't know another way.
I want to make a purchase from EO shop, but when I click on "checkout", it comes up, amongst other things, "there is a problem with this website security certificate"? Any ideas?

Its the security settings on your browser more than likely. Go in and put them on low and accept all cookies and after you do your purchase put it back. If you have a fire wall it could also be this and you could try temp. disable to do the purchase.

Thanks Barry,

We are aware of this issue, and are currently working to rectify it.

The problem arises when you enter the Shop from an alternative ExplorOz domain. For instance, you may run into the problem when entering the Shop from www.Exploroz.com.au, www.ExploreOz.com or www.4WDAustralia.com.au. The security certificate we have is set for www.ExplorOz.com, thus the other domains will advise that the certificate is not valid. Rest assured that these other domains are indeed safe to use, and that it is just a redirection problem.

If you are using Internet Explorer, you should simply be able to click "Continue to site" when confronted with the problem, and this will take you to the next step of the ordering process.

On a side note, the security certificate that you are having the problem with is only securing your delivery details. This function is separate to the credit card encryption which is working correctly (The NAB handles this externally).

Should you have any other concerns, just let me know.

Michael

Thank you Michael for your response. I have been studying Computer lingo for a while & how to drive one of these things, but for this old geezer it is all a bit daunting & never have much success.
I just simple want to purchase a video you have on offer entitled " How to rid Australia of Queenslanders" & in so doing rid EO of the same problem. The price is a bit daunting at $250.00, but I think it would be money well spent.
I will phone your office to morrow & organise my purchase. Thank you for your help. LOL & cheers
