My 1HZ (after market turbo) troopy did 11ltr/100km

I thought that was pretty good.

Has anyone got a 1HZ troopy that does any better.

About 25% urban and 75% highway.

Regards Bob

Hi Bob
I did the same with a 120 series Prado diesel.
Drop down to 95km/h with stock tyres and did 12.6 ltr/100 before was getting 14 ltr/100.
Right foot makes all the difference.

My 2002 TD Prado has recently ranged from 10litres/100km (100km'h freeway cruise control, loaded up) to 11.4 l/100kms (driving around the blue mtns)..used to be much worse but somethings happened and my fuel consumption has been great the last few mths.. maybe its the lighter right boot due to price of diesel...

Previous owner of my Prado used to get 14 l/100km towing a van...

Cheers and beers
Rich

Economy is all about a well tuned vehicle, and your driving style.

Start pushing and watch the economy fly out the window.

The hardest thing to do is when you are trying to cover big K's in a day, and keep the discipline, of economic driving..

Cheers All
Bucky
