Have not been on for awhile, and I can now say I am able to get to
Innamincka so nothing like a rushed pack and prep.
I have noted a few are heading from Qld and wondering where abouts you heading from and what date are you looking at leaving.
At this stage I'm planning on arriving on the 8th of course if I get my Desert Pass quickly (this week) I can leave when I feel like it once the fridge is wired in.
If your interested in meeting along the way drop us a line, I don't plan on rushing as I will take some photos along the way. I will be going
Toowoomba,
Dalby,
St George,
Cunnamulla,
Eulo,
Thargomindah.
Also I have checked on the fuel thingie on this site but at
Innamincka it does not say if they have ULP so can anyone advise if the trading post has ULP.
See you all out there
Brian

Hi Brian, we are leaving home this Friday afternoon,(Nanango) first stop
Jandowae. Then on to
Mitchell on Saturday
camping out on the river (
free camping) at either Fishermens Bend or at the Weir if its to full, probably have a couple of days there.
Next stop some where west of
Charleville then down to
Toompine and on to
Thargomindah, where we will have a night in the caravan
park to do some washing. We then go onto Noccundra and wait for Trevor R and we might do the Corner and the
Bore track getting into
Innamincka on Saturday the 5th.
So we may run into you some where or even travel a bit of the way together.
Cheers Bruce

Hi,
That sounds like an interesting run never gave a run to the corner or the
bore track a consideration. When do you think you will be in
Thargomindah or Noccundra?

Well sounds like a few of us will be on the road around the same time. Hopefully I can get all my stuff sorted ASAP and be on my way, so may see you out and about.
Must say am interested in the
bore track run, if time is on my side.

Gooday Brian and I did the Bulloo track,
Bore track and into
Innamincka a couple of weeks ago. You will have no trouble getting fuel in
Innamincka other than paying for it. I have posted a blog on the trip if you should care to read it. I quite enjoyed the run. The
campsite on the
Wilson at Noccundra is pretty dusty but otherwise is good.Enjoy the trip.

Hi beachbum, wand if you could tell me if I would have any problems towing my old Viscount van (she has had a pretty good
suspension up grade and has a clearance of 280 mm under the axle) across the
Bore Track thanks.
Cheers Bruce
