coleman retro malfunction

Hi Everyone, bought a Coleman Retro 'tilly' type flouro light 6 months ago. Great light but has now developed a problem. Turns on ok then stops after a few minutes. Is fully charged. If you keep turning it on/off it will light up again, but then stops. Anyone come across this problem? Trying to avoid having to return it as I'm a bit remote and want to use it
camping in the near future.Thanks. Oz doc

Hi Oz, having the same problem.
Its the switch.....does it feel loose or sloppy ?

Hi Lionel - does feel a bit loose on the high setting. Snug on the low setting. Have you sorted yours?

Sort of....both settings on
mine were sloppy, just turned the switch till it felt snug. Stays on most of the time.
Had it for a year and a bit, probably not worth returning
mine now.

If it is 6 months old it should be in w'tee. Why not just take it back for a new one...
