theres no such tracks that Im aware of however, if you are camping at Billy Graces, swinging
bridge or the
swimming hole one further up you can keep following that road through the pine plantation all the way to tumut....the proper / popular way is to go the opposite direction.
they arent overly 4wd as we did it in the futura a few yrs back, purely by mistake.
if your into dirt bike riding half way out there from Yass there is a bike
camp place that has its own tracks, not 4wd though Im sure.
Othere than that there are
the caves and Geoff is very knowledgable and will spend
well over the given time on the tour for you. and they are
well worth it and put Jenolin and Wombeyan to shame.
This is our fave
camp spot......!!! (can ya tell!!??)

Haven't heard of that place since moving to WA in 1980, spent many happy times wetting aline in that area with GOOD catches from the bank and in a tinnie. As far as tracks go we used to use the forestry tracks, bloody hard on the old
sedan at times, and old shankses pony when required but then that was back in the late 60's and 70's. Would love to get back there one day.

Its still a beautifull place although the
dam is pretty low....we usually go for a walk down there and let the kids run havoc on the sheep! I have only seen it full once in the last 4 yrs but I think that it would have to be full now!!
Neve go out there on the long weekends now hey! Every man and his fishing rod is there!

Still only 40% in the
dam so no backup anywhere near
Wee Jasper.
As a grumpy old sheep farmer I'm a bit concerned that you let
the kids "run havoc on the sheep". If a dog does that the result
can be quite predictable. Perhaps I misunderstand your intent.
The Kiwi part may have been an influence...:))).
cheers....oldbaz.

Its not that bad dont worry Baz.....we would go down to the
dam and let the kids run around....sheep
well away....except for the time Amy decided that going for a 400m walk towards them and go after them....she was 16 mths old!
Im a cattle girl so know what its like....
dont worry.....!!!!
