Only two weeks to go and a family crisis has raised its head which means we can't go to
Innamincka. Can't cancel our leave either. We will have to spent the 2 weeks at home, muttering about family, and thinking about what we are missing out on. Everything was pretty much packed, truck serviced, tyres rotated, even told the neighbours. Bugger!
Mike.

Mike,
I know how you feel, I have just re-inflamed my lower back and am hoping that it will be settled before we leave Monday week.
I missed last years gathering because of my back and don't particularly want to miss this one :)
Cheers Kev

Kev,
I am sorry to hear about your back trouble. A bad back, a long drive and corrugations are not a good mix either. Hope it comes good in time - we don't want to let the side down (go Maroons).
Mike.

Mike,
I have had a Stratos
suspension seat on order for a month now and am hoping it turns up in the next few days so I can get it fitted before we leave, It should do my back the world of good on the corrugations and the long kms in the saddle.
I am still working on having a QLD gathering next year up around Gladstone/
Rockhampton areas. Just not sure when to hold it yet, I was thinking about September school holidays.
Good luck with the family crisis
Cheers Kev

Kev,
September is out for us. MIL's birthday in
Adelaide plus going to Floriade in
Canberra and the Tulip Festival in Bowral.
I just can't win - LOL.

I was trying to steer clear of the July ones as the National gathering is held around then and
Easter is a bit early to plan for LOL

hi Kev,
Sorry to hear about your back. We know only too
well in this household what a crook back can do to you. After the EO gathering last year there was some talk about Michelle and David organising a national get together in Western Australia next year, so you might like to keep that in mind when you plan your Queensland get together.
kindest regards
Annette (Nette)

Annette,
I want to keep it
well clear from most other gatherings so more have the opportunity to attend.
The anti inflamatories have kicked in now and movement is a little easier. Just need to take it easy for another couple of days.
Cheers Kev

Hiya
Sir Kev & Darkie
Have you tried Elmore Oil ?????.Ive had double level fusion @ 25 from motorbike accident..A nurse put me onto it about 2-3 months ago..I still require heavy painkillers but it does giv some relief..Not cheap though about $30 bucks for 250ml bottle from chemist..Worth a try in my opinion.

What an absolute bugger Mike! It is always family that ruin everything!!!
Kev have you forgotten you are a Queenslander? If the back won't deal with the 4wd just use the petty cash out of your back pocket and get that helicopter and arrive in style! Blowing away all the camps of the southerners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
