About 600k, road can be a bit rough around
Tibooburra and you will have to find out if the roads are open the morning you leave.

Not much has changed then....we graded it with our vans last time out there...700 odd kms, and the road is pretty good, but its no place to drive too fast for the conditions, they are deceptive, nice wide graded road then table drain or blow out (same as wash out but without the
water) so give yourself plenty of time to make it.
All who read this and are headed that way.......dont miss the reenactment of Sturts' party in the Tibaburra NPWS
shop....free entry and it gave me real perspective of why the darkies were so bleep ...(no punn either)

Bugah, the word under the beep was slang for drunk, that means to be upset....they speared Gray, Sturts leutenant...because the party was wrecking the place...
