Greg,

Put a 3" system on an 80 series some years back. Pondered about how the bloody hell a thing as big as that was going to fit, but it was no drama.

We have an after market rear tank fitted, and the original pipe was rubbing it slightly. Took it back & they spent a few hours on it, no charge!

Reckon you'll be satisfied.

Hooroo,
Bob.

Have just got home from having a 3"mandrel bent exhaust fitted to my 100 TD along with a Dtronic chip ($900 on Ebay brand new)
Certainly makes a difference.Standard dyno was 145hp with both fitted 165.2hp.
Is a DTS system fitted by AMMS at Sandgate in Brisbane. Aluminised steel $1100 for fitting and 3 runs on the Dyno.
Excellent job and only took about 2 1/2 hours
Dyno results below
Red =standard
Blue =with chip only
Green= with both

Hi Wayne
I am down in Bunbury (usually, in Darwin at moment) where did you get your system from and if I can ask $, did you get or need to get 3'' dump as well. I have new common rail 3lt and was told no need to upgade exh but I think it may help. Thanks

Hi Carree
I also have the new common rail 3lt.
I got 2½" dump and from the dump all 3" with a straight through muffler and no cat converter.
Sorry cannot remember how much I paid for it, it was ordered and installed by Mandurah Mufflers.
If you ever want to go on a day trip try www.westernpatrolclub.com a very good club with lots of trips around Dwellingup and Harvey area.

Greg,
Fitted one a couple of months ago and just love it! Was easy enough to fit and well worth the money. Huge difference when towing.
Cheers,
bob
