Can you buy a Parks Pass on the way to or in

Innamincka area and surrounds?? I just checked the SA Parks site but they say its unavailable at the moment..Thanks all.. Michael

Sorry Michael, I'll join your answer queue....I want to do the
Bore Track and I would imagine I would need one for there as
well, so can I get a pass at
Cameron Corner?
I was under the impression you could get them in
Innamincka, if so I might do a day trip down the
Bore Track from
Innamincka.
Cheers Bruce

Bruce the Parks pass is not required for the
bore track. It is a separate fee payable at Bollards
Lagoon homested & covers the use of the private track. Pick up your pass at
Innamincka if you don't have one or possibly get it sent in the mail from the ExOz
shop if you're not leaving for a week.

I am thinking about taking my van over it Michael, Trevor R (King Cane Toad) is taking his Off Road Supreme van over it on his way to
Innamincka, when will you be in
Cameron Corner?
Cheers Bruce.

The
bore track in my opinion would be suitable for very sturdy offroad trailers with good tyres & clearance. Nothing particually challenging from memory but is rough in
places (particually the last gibber section) & cross's a large clay pan that could possibly still be wet from the last rain. To avoid any doubt simply ring Bollards
Lagoon directly & ask to get the latest track conditions & check if vans are even allowed at the moment.

Bruce, I was going to Camerons Corner after the gathering, i noticed the
Bore Track but im hesitant now because my alloy spare was stolen some months ago off the back of my Patrol so only leaves me with one spare now.. I should have gotton off my bum and replaced it.. A few days in the National
park there and off to
White Cliffs and dont know after that yet!! Michael

Micheal, why not buy one from ExplorOz? & it depends on where you are going & what you are doing.
Isuzumo do not need one for the
bore track, but do need to pay Bollards
Lagoon $10.00

TDB

Thanks Everyone, I just noticed in my Hema map, its a Desert Parks Pass that is required for the
Innamincka Regional Reserve and not the standard Parks Pass.. Is anyone going to spend a day or so in the
Sturt National Park in and around Camerons Corner after the meet at
innamincka and maybe a night in
White Cliffs , before heading to the East Coast?? Regards, Michael

It appears you can not buy a short stay pass, the yearly pass is $100 for twelve months. Maybe it is possible for us inter-staters to pay for each day we venture into the
Innamincka Regional Reserve..! Michael
