Im keen to hear everyones thoughts on cutting the roof off a 93 troopy about half way up the windows and then welding on a new, rust free (or at least less rusty) roof.
My gutters are shot and top windscreen too with rust as with most troopys.
Anyone tried this or looked into this?
Any other options on viable remedies?

Nothing wrong with doing that BJ as long as the job is done properly....I have a mate here in
Adelaide that is going to do the same thing with his....Make sure cuts are staggered and not straight...
Cheers......Borgy

Yes very viable option, take care with the cuts and on the measurements and all will be good. Regards Tony

It was easier with my old Hj47... just 10mm bolts. Undo one... put another on. Son just finished doing the job for the third time!
