Price of fuel has started a new crime wave work friend has just told me he had a freind stay this week in a small mobile home which he couldn't park in the drive but left on the verge whislt they slept inside the house.
In the morning beside the camper was a jerry can and length of hose totaly covered in vomit appears the would be thief had attempted to syphon the sillage tank.

yeah....spent new yr in a very busy caravan park for 11 yrs straight.....kids trying to be cool....would get the wrong tank...!! Its hilarious to watch (yep!) cos its usually on NYE - they are drunk as skunks!!!! They soon learn but a new bunch of kids would come through the yr after....try the same thing!

I have the fixed that problem, when I go touring, I have two 5ltr old petrol container attached to the front of my Van which are in easy reach for any would be thief, but what they dont know is that the easy one to steal (not locked down) has SUGAR in it!!...............(So if you see a silver 100 series LC with WA plates)

Best you can do is fix locking fuel caps. Don't forget the padlocks to lock and fix jerry cans to something solid. Yep so right, offence theft of petrol/fuel has been around since automibiles were first fueled with gasoline.
