Triton tyre/wheel combo

Hi All
The 2008 Triton GLX has 205/80R16 tyres on 16x6 inch
wheels. I was wondering if anyone has tried putting 265/75 tyres on 16x7 inch
wheels in the GLX or GLX-R (and remain legal)? If you have, are you able to tell me what make of tyre/wheel you used and was there any need for modification to make them fit? If it isn't possible, does anyone know what the largest tyre that would fit would be? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think you will find 265 tyres are a little to wide for 6 inch rims.
We have 245/75X16 tyres on 7 inch rims and I know we can fit 265/75X16 on.
