I arrive in
Brisbane late on the 10th July almost a month later than originally planned to pick up my new Troopy on the 11th. Now I find my passport, drivers license, etc.... needs to be sighted to register the vehicle, have offered police/JP verified photocopies including Incs details but that won't work. Looks like another day wasted in a city.
I need to pick up tools, supplies etc. so if that all goes
well I could make the gathering by Sunday night. With a tail wind I might catch up with some stayers.

Russ, that's bad news for you and the documentation is a PITA.
Most of us are so honest that we don't really stop to think why such procedures are necessary. But sadly they are.
Being involved in chasing a case of theft, I find it amazing what people can get up to and get away with.
Now you and I wouldn't dream of such things, but the criminal element does it every day (and night).
Hope you get everything sorted, and make the gathering and have a blast. (sadly I can't get there, so have one for me:)
