Heading up that way in a few weeks . Haven't been in that area for 25 years. Just a couple of questions?
1. Is it to cold for yabbies- and if not wher can we look?
2. Anywhere (within 100kms ) to fish
3. Does the
bore water affect nylon/lycra swimming costumes?- Will just take the old ones if it does
4. Any suggestions for day trips from there

Burren Junction - LOLOLOL
1/. - getting a bit cold but no harm in droppin a net anywhere you like.
2/. - Namoi or Barwon rivers - prob some local spots too
3/. - BwaaHaaHaa - dont know whether the
bore water will make much difference but you might affect the locals dressed in that gear.
4/. - the pub - also a good place to get your fishing / yabby questions answered. Also you could try a run down to the Pillaga, out to Lightening Ridge. Moree caters for tourists with heaps of hot spas. Also a private one for general use up near Spring Plains I think. Been a while since Ive been that way.

Was up that way a few years back and the
bore pool was green stinkin' and unpleasant. Since then i have heard that they have cleaned it up and it is supposed to be nice now.

Ta for that
Never heard of Spring Plains
As for the lycra costumes - I didn't say what size - the only affect for the locals would be shock and the rumour that "the circus was in town"
