Gday,
FYI
As of July 1st 2008, new drug driving laws come into force in the Northern Territory.
• Police officers may require a driver to have a drug test if the driver:
1. was the driver in a crash not taken to a Hospital/Health Centre. or
2. demonstrated unexplained or dangerous driving behaviour and/or
3. if the officer had reasonable grounds to suspect the driver had “prohibited drugs” in their body.
• Drivers of heavy vehicles over 4.5 tonnes may be saliva screen tested for drugs at random.
Heaps more to it obviously......
If you want to read it I can email the whole lot.
Cheers

Rainbow Valley under the new ownership. Its no longer a "NATIONAL park"....and they are threatening to close the climb at
the rock altogether and shut off 3/4 of the Devil Marbles!!!!
That

Yerr...
well
You bin reading the Alice Crier or the Advocate again?
Here in this idiot Mexican State they are trying to close all country hospitals telling us that it will really be to our advantage to drive andextra 3 hours to get to a doctor in an emergency. The world is full of Pea Brains and we let them get away with it
Cheers

Willem re the hospital thing - that's would be a pity if the country hospitals were to wind down in SA. Had a back injury during a trip to the
Flinders Ranges couple of years back and needed hospital care....found my way to
Port Augusta hospital and gotta say that I could not have gotten better care in any of the major city hospitals - public or private. No waiting, seen immediately by the VMO, off to x-ray in minutes. The
young duty Dr I saw had his normal day job at an aboriginal clinic in town. Gave me his personal number just in case I needed him after hours once I got out of hospital as
well. So my experience of one of your country hospitals was nothing short of outstanding.
Cheers
Pete

Slowly but surely NT is being dragged 'kicking and screaming' into -line with Road Traffic Laws existent in the rest of Australia. About time too. Now all they have to sort out are the drinking, domestic and social problems throughout the Territory. That'll be interesting.

Fellas,
Replying to this numb nut is a waste of time.
Willem described his replies as "Guerilla" tactics. That is to say, he comes in, fires a shot and runs like a rabbit.
