Hi all,
I installed a double DIN GPS/DVD/etc combo unit in a mates DX GU 2008 today.
All went
well and works fine.
I have the same unit to go in my 2004 3.0l ST.
I want to include the cabling for auto reverse camera switching and handbrake sensor for TV isolation etc etc.
I am a sparky and have no wiring issues, however if anyone has a wiring harnes colour code it would be very helpful and save me hours of work.
P.S. I also installed a UHF in the top console, dual battery system, rear and mid power sockets, reversing camera, spotlights, aux charge outlet for camper and air compressor under the
seat with switching and all controls neatly wired to the drivers consoles.
If anyone wants ideas, tips or photos email me and I can send them. We nutted out some great ideas. All looks neat and tidy.
