Just did the Plenty Hwy. Pretty easy track. Small amounts of, not very deep. Observed plenty of 4wd's towing caravans at gentle pace. I though the track was going to be a bit more challenging. Diesel at Jervious was $2.24 per litre. Would definitely recommend staying at Gem Tree Caravan Park. Lovely people and excellent showers.

Yes I came across twice in the last 4 weeks. The Plenty is actually as bad as I have seen it in 5 years, though the formed up section east Tobermorrey improved things quite a bit.

We just got back from the Hay River, being first vehicles through from the south, the track was invisible in places. had a great time!
