Warn 12000lb with a 6.5hp motor

i am looking to adapt a 6.5 hp warn motor to a 12000lb warn winch and was wondering if anybody has done it or know if it's possible?
ARB can not tell me if the footprint of the motor is the same.

I remember someone putting a 6.5 hp motor on their winch - I think the motor was from a company in NZ - it wasn't a Warn motor but seemed to fit ok.
