About $100 each I think and there is a 4x4 performance place at Capalaba the may be able to help you. Try Yellow

I dont know what you are expecting, have done 3 vehicles injectors, 2 4.2 niassan diesals and 1 7 litre volvo truck motor with over 800,00ks, and have seen and felt no gains in power or fuel figures, the last vehicle i did is a 4.2 diesal GQ with 350,00ks, fitted new injectors and got no benefits at all, still get 12lts - 100ks, same as before and no extra power gains. Looked at the injectors taken out and saw very little wear. One thing i have found that helps is a good upper cylinder lubricant since the sulpher content has been taken out of the fuel, the only benefits have been smoother motor running and less black smoke out the back, i use moreys, have tried others, but they didnt work. If you still get good fuel economy i wouldnt waste my money. Just keep up with good fuel filters. Col

Hi, I thought the same with my GQ 2.8 TD. Got it dynoes recently and it had about 65 hp at the rear
wheels. Got the thing tuned on the dyno and went up to 85 hp. Like a new car without having to get new injectors etc.
Mine has done 160K. Havnt tried consumption figures yet but that is why I thought the inectors were worn.

Kiwi...just rest assured that you are doing the righ thing for the environment. Your injectors need to be VERY bad before you will feel a significant difference in performance.
Old injectors will still provide good power and little noticeble effect to performance but the emissions will be through the roof!!
If we wait for poor performance to clean our injectors then they are about 50 000km overdue in most cases and been spewing emission for a long time.
Mmmmm dont you feel all fuzzy inside knowing you are doing the environment the best!
All the best
Matt.

Hi Matt, totally agree with what you are saying that is why i have spent the money on the posted 3 vehicles, (am a greeny at heart) but am starting to look at things differently as in how do you get bad emissions when you get the same or even better fuel consumption than the manufacturer has stated what the vehicle should get, have spent the money on making my diesal more fuel efficient, and have seen gains in all things i have done except the $600 plus to fit new injectors. I feel if i had done the pump as
well i may have seen a small gain. My vehicle has done 360,000 ks doesnt blow black smoke and gets the same as a 100 series worth 70- 80 grand with all the latest computors, but at the end of the day neither of these vehicles are up to the latest emission laws.
