It was fuelling up at
Mobil day before yesterday - I was on a mission and couldn't stop - just assumed it would be around and then couldn't find it anywhere in
Birdsville. Was from WA and the start of its plate was DA. Who was it? It was a 4WD and it wasn't white.
Had a visit from Richard from NSW and his mate - they were heading to
Diamantina Lakes.
Brian from the
Gold Coast due back into town today.
Peter & Jan McGuckian (
Melbourne) phoned 80 klms west of Big Red this a.m. and having a good trip - they are due in tonight to celebrate Jan's birthday tonight at the rubbidy dub. Then Jan is doing a Showing of her Batavia Pearls for the whole town tomorrow night at the Hall to raise funds for an $80K x-ray machine for our Clinic (4 fractures in 10 days and nearest x-ray is 800 klms away).
Weather is absolutely stunning - 7 min up to 23 yesterday, clear, sunny, absolutely no wind.

D, funnily enough as soon as I saw the vehicle I thought of you when registering the WA numberplate. Then realised it wasn't racetime so that couldn't be right.
Now, for racetime, if you are lucky, the northerly winds could come in early with blowing dust sandblasting your legs at every opportunity and you wouldn't have to worry about being cold because the temperature would be about 35 in the waterbag. Alternately, it could be a howling southerly with a wind chill factor of minus something. EIther way it's usually sunny with no cloud.
Ha ha. Especially if not raining.

Ummmmmmmmmm, choices, choices,
well since I don't like the cold (have enough of that here) and the wind is going to blow no matter what, I think I will take the hot northerly thanks Ruth LOL.
Can't wait.
Cheers
