Exploder
Looking at fitting these to the Front of the Hilux when the time comes from what I have read they have a smoother ride and will give better articulation off-road than Normal Leaf springs. $400 from WA spring works
Has anybody had any experience with this type of leaf spring and are they that much better than the Normal type of leaf Spring, I have never heard much about em?
I think the back has Maxitrac gear on it which I will just let be, maybe just have em reset for softer ride.
>> Has anybody used Herculie's Terra Trac or Trail digger M/T Tyres before.
Cheers.

yeah mate i Got it, what a beast LOL, will get a photo up some time.
At the moment the list is a full service, Install 4Way steering dampener, Fit new tyres and tidy a few things up
For 218,000km the old 22R still fires up first tick of the starter thou.
Bit P-offed thou, called up to get 3rd Party Fire and theft put on it as it's just my Bunky Ute, As it's worth over $5,000 so only STD 3ed party or full comp is avalable. Full comp at $790 a year (Under 25) Bloody insurance company's they already get $2500 off me for my XR6 Turbo now another $790 on a $7000 Hilux.
Yes I'm under 25, I've covered 200,000km had 2 minor Traffic fines 4 years ago and i have never made a claim or had a Crash and i still get shafted, How bout a Fair Go!!

Hi Exploder,
please excuse my intervention, but are your parent(s) still alive. If so they may wish to do what I do for my son. I put his car in my name and put him down as a driver. Saves him over $2000 a year on his WRX from what he told me. At 25 he can take it on himself and start accruing his own no claim bonus (hopefully).
Hope this may be of use to you,
rgds

Yeah that’s what I used to do with the Explorer and the car before that, As they already have 2 cars’ in there name we decided it may look a bit funny them having 4 car’s insured to them.
When i start working away the Falcon will get put under mum's name as then she will be the main driver.
Funny thing is i can get Insurance for a 302Kw GT Falcon easer than i can a 245Kw Turbo Falcon, don't ask me how that works.

The word Turbo will increase your policy if the car runs on petrol but might not in a diesel vehicle

Don't know about cars but on trucks & trailers they seem to brake fairly easily.
Cheers Dave...
