Having difficulty setting up the UHF. Is there an initial setup procedure to activate the 40 channels? Scans through 40 channels but when using the manual channel selector only gets 2 channels. Can receive and transmit.

I have a UNiden but it went straight out of the box. Have u got a button pushed that shouldnt be like CTSS or something that is stopping it from manually selecting. Make sure you have scan deactivated

None of the GMEs I've dealt with have a setup proceedure. I don't see that the new ones should be any different (I'm used to the 3400, 3200, 4400, 4600, so all but the xx20 series).

You should be able to wire it in, and immediately access all 40 channels.

Take it back to the dealer.

The 3220 needs power/earth and the aerial and goes straight away, no need to do anything else, I installed mine about two months ago
