mt skene snow

There was very little snow last weekend.
There is no specific site to get snow depths for Mt Skene that I'm aware of.
Yes it's snowing there at the moment & with more forecast over the next few days will be plenty for snow play, may even get a bit deep for some to drive over in which case expect ignorant drivers to park in the middle of the road when they can get no further causing traffic jams & road rage ;-)
The best way to tell if there is snow on Mt Skene is to look at the Mt Buller Forecast. If it's raining in Melbourne & below zero at Buller one could expect it to be snowing at Skene. TheLittle Buller Spur snow cam shows snow depth similar to the altitude at Skene.
Pretty much when the snow is said to be good but with only 7 lifts operating (today) then it's really fairly poor. When you get all 25 lifts going expect over a metre of snow on Skene.
Might go up myself on Friday & carv up all the fresh stuff before the crowds arrive on the weekend :-)
