The road is fine as at last week a bit sandy from the plenty up to Urandangi but only for about 10 ks just stay on the 2 wheel tracks and you will be fine. You can
camp at the pub at Urandangi for free behind locked gates on a nice grassed area the owner is Pam (only white in town) is a good lady who keep the locals in check. The locals are good people who will take you fishing if keen and the kids just smile and play non stop. My 4yo loved it there with so many kids to play with. Its a must see place it looks a dump but take the time to stop at the pub and talk to the locals and go across the road and see the kids in the
park and you will see past the rubbish ,dogs and drink. Our family loved the place it was so real and honust Cheers Tony

Derek,
Boulia to
Dajarra is bitumen, albeit narrow.
Camp site in
Dajarra, just across from the town, isn't anything too flash, and due to dry conditions, might be a little dusty underfoot. Plenty of good spots off the road, either side of town though.
Haven't been to the 'Dangie for years, but would suggest you
camp down on the River, so you can get some peace & quiet. Likewise there would be reasonable
camp sites along the road towards, or past the 'Dangie.
The country will look pretty ordinary, as that area is very dry, like much of western Qld.
Bring some rain when you come, please?
Hooroo,
Bob.
