Twinkles
Anyone had experience with these tyres?
Thinking of getting these or BFG A/T or ProComp A/T. Daughter had great run out of ProComp A/T on Hilux.

Sorry no, I asked a local dealer for a quote on them but got no reply, so bought BFG's for my Hilux, one short trip with them and so far so good. Dealer of Mickey T's didn't bother to ring back at all. I put 31's on my Hilux with no probs.

Hi,Twinkles I'm running FC II on my 100 series T/D in 265/75/16 only done about 4000 k on road and 1000 odd on rock and dirt etc. Just got home this arvo from the trip with dirt road towing a campertrailer and tyres look like they never left the bitumen. They do have some road noise on tight packed bitumen though

Hi there,
I am running the FCII on my 03 Patrol in 285/75/16. I would say they have about 15000ks on them now with about 98% of that being on the bitumen.
I think they are great.. They have very little wear and if they continue the way they are going then I expect to get at least 80000ks out of them. Offroad they have performed
well.
I do get a slight drone at around the 70kph mark but it is hardly noticeable. I suppose it is expected to a degree as they are still quite a chunky tyre..

I used to have them, 265/75R16 on a GU. After about 20-30 000km they still looked very good but were un-driveable in the wet. Couldn't stop, could turn a corner safely.
Got them replaced under Mickey T warranty for ATZ, much better tyre for me.

I had them on my 100 series up until yesterday. They were 265s and probably done around 30,000. I have been quite impressed and happy with them with good off-road ability and no problems in the wet. Only reason I took them off is to put them on the camper and then put new tyres on the cruiser. Still have heaps of tread on them. Have now put 285 ATZ-2 on the car which seem (at first impression) to ride really nicely with very little road noise.
Cheers
Gerry

We ran a set of FCII 285/75 R16's for about 18 months. We found they tend to pick up rocks (particularly on gravel roads) which get stuck in the tread and also end up chipping the lugs. Other than that they seemed to be ok. My husband reckons they weren't as good as the BFG All Terrains mainly due to
the rock issue. His tyre of choice now is the BFG Muds 285/75 R16.

I run them on my F250. Just got back from 15000k trip from bris to
perth via
birdsville,anne beadell hwy,cape arid,
gawler ranges. Tyres are slightly chipped but 4.5ton will do that. I'd say they handled it very
well considering last trip was on Coopers s/t and I had replaced ALL FOUR after 5000k and dealer said sees it every other day! I do agree with the small stones getting stuck in FC 11's ,don't think it worries them though
