Anyone have any info on what the winds are like at
Steep Point Western Australia in the begining of october ??

g'day andoman, i live at useless loop which is near
steep point, october is when the wind usually starts blowing most days. some years it's early october ,some years later. usually stops blowing around april.

A rough rule of thumb is that the months without an 'R' in the name are wind free.
May, June, July and August therefore are the best time to be in the area to miss the winds.
