whats happend to mitsubishi

i thought that mitsubishi australia stopped producing cars. how come i see ads on tv for new mitsubishis' . ( i like the look of that new 3 door 4x4 , looks good ).

Only the Magna/380 was built here. Mitsubishi itself is still a huge company internationally.

"You answered the 'question' in your opening statement... " My wife asked the same thing the other night. Explained to her that everything else was imported except the 380 which was made here. That's why they shut the plant down nothing else made in that plant here in Aus (bit like everything now) Aus will be one big warehouse. So there are probably a few people out there wondering whats going on when they see Mitsi still advertising..............Regards Steve M
