Boggy Hole Feedback

We towed our camper behind our 80 series last week, and the trip was surprisingly easy. Very soft sand but no problems with 18psi in car and 16psi in camper. Two other vehicles with us also had no problems. Beautiful campsite at a waterhole south of Boggy Hole - sandy, lots of water and birdlife. Navigation was fairly easy, except for losing the track at the Boggy Hole river crossing over the rock ledges - we walked up and found it again with not too much trouble. The trickiest part was the sandy road out to the Ernest Giles Road, with roads running off to communites (we think) in all directions - just stay on the main road and keep heading straight south. Would definitely recommend a visit through here- it was the highlight of our whole trip to the centre this year.

Most trouble happens after the Finke has been flowing well. The track disappears and large blow holes can develop around trees etc. Otherwise the track gets compacted an reasonably easy to travel.
