Putting a bar on my Rodeo 2.8l TD next month and just organising some
driving lights - Lightforce 240's. The problem I possibly see is the lights, being as large as they are, limiting the air to the radiator and causing overheating problems. ????
Any such experiences from other users??

Some cars suffer greater than others with the 240s.
I know a few Paj owners with them, and 0 problems at all, my GQ has them, and havent caused any more problems than before.
If in doubt, go the 170s good lights, and will save you $.
Try Multispares for your lightforces, they were sellin for $356 whiel back.

Will the 240's even fit in the bar??
I have the ARB deluxe winch bar and have fitted Rallye 4000s they are a big light and they had to be mounted forward of the upper bar to clear it!
They fit eventually but I would have preferred them to sit inside the bars for a little more protection. I havent had any overheating problems due to the lights, I think!!
Goodluck, Matt.

Thanks guys.
I think I'll play on the safe side and go the 170's - don't want to give myself problems down the track. I've had 170's on my other rig for excess of 10 years, way before they even had
driving lights and they have been great.
Matt M - I'm having a TJM T15 bar fitted and YES the 240's would hang out the front, so probably another good reason to stay with the 170's.
