Hi All,
I have recently had extractors, 3inch system and snorkel fitted to the cruiser. It certainly seemed to increase the power etc. (sounds nice too, no longer sounds like it has to sit down to tinkle) but after about 500km or so the engine management light has come on.

It did go off and on a couple of times but is now on full time and now that the light is on the performance /economy has dropped off etc.

Am I right in thinking that the heated oxygen sensor's are having trouble coping with the change in exhaust gases / air flow?

Any suggestions for a solution/fix?

Cheers
Kev

It may be.But it would pay to find someone who can access the diagnostics as it could be anything from what you have said to burnt wiring or just a coincidence. Someone with a decent scan tool that reads real time data would be useful.I imagine an o2 sensor will not be cheap so best to spend a little to save a little.
