Hi All,
I'd like to head up into the high country from
Melbourne and find some snow (haven't seen any for about 15 years). If anyone has seen any this year could you let me know where? (Ski resorts aside please :-)
Cheers
Andrew

Andrew,
Last Thursday there was a large snow dump in the High Country. We went past
Licola on the Tamboritha Road and snow was down to 1000m.
I can still see snow when driving from home to work on the ranges. The weather has warmed up a bit the last few days but it looks like it will come in cold again - so more snow hopefully.
Another member went to Mt Skene and found heaps of snow up that way on the other side to me.
During the week is best if you can make it - no other vehicles about and virgin snow to drive along.
Tim

Gday Tim
Little Wes and i stayed at Huggets last weekend , and it was a little fresh. Minus 2 was the lowest, because the thermometer won't go any lower. Plus 5 at 10 am..
Good weekend and glad to have a hot shower.
Murray
PS we could see snow in the north

Andrew at the moment there is snow left over from last weeks falls starting from 1200m in patches up to .4m deep at 1500m. Most hills have a bit on them but Mt Selwyn is the most popular that is guarenteed to have 4 or 5 KM's of road covered.
