I don't even want to think about how much Darkie has cost me and I have only done just over 10 000 kms LOL

Darkies bullbar is slightly bentfrom the roo on Monday evening so it may need to be strengthened a little on the sides

Cheers Kev

Wow Willem that's a mighty list you've kept.

I have a '92 GQ 3.0l petrol that has just turned over 375000k.
I haven't made it off bitumen much this year and mostly tootling to work and back so it's had a soft 12 months just gone. Unlike your adventures.

But it has had a history of less than soft treatment. My memory doesn't serve me as well as yours but I just replaced the wiper blades, have kept to 10000k services unless in heavy dust then a bit sooner. Other than the wiper blades, the only things I have replaced in the last 6 years or so, have been:
the windscreen as it was sandblasted and needed a new rubber (then got it's first bullseye) $220
Tyres all round. (Falkens have served well but need replacing shortly) about $700
Flexible wheel arch flares (to cover the exposed tyres) $50
Head light globes (but the problem was a loose wire) $35
Clutch slave hose. $45

Current Issues:
I currently have a small leak in the power steer hose.
The A/C doesn't cool.
The door locks sometimes don't via solenoids.
It needs a wash.

That's about it. The engine just keeps going (slowly though) and uses no oil other than normal. It is comfy and reasonably fuel efficient (for what it is)
I have expectations of painting it (the roof is dark blue and gets very hot) and maybe fitting _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx and roof rack/tent system and tinting the windows. I have had an offer of a BF 6 cyl police motor with 15000 on the clock but until the old 3.0 dies, I am reluctant to go that way.

If I had too much money, I am still fairly sure I would keep the GQ as it is just too good to part with. (Mostly the reliability when it does go bush, you know it's going to come back).

It's good to hear we have great vehicles
Cheers Cam
