Hi There, has anyone had recent experience with the D694LT tyres?
I am up for a set of all terrains and am looking seriously at these among the many choices there are out there

I have heard good reports. I will be buying some, but not the LT. Bob Jane have them on special for my RA Rodeo at $229.00 each. I believe the LT's are in the BFG ATKO price range if not a little higher. I will be interested to read any feedback as well.

Cheers

If you intend to take your 4x4 offroad, then I would strongly suggest the LT's..

Bit extra money but a stronger tyre !!

Hi there,
I have bought Bridgestone LT245/70R16 113S D694FZ OWT for my Jackaroo. Haven't done enough K's to give any info except to say the tread is very deep AND they are very quiet on the road, but do pick up lots of small stones. Drove through some ice last weekend without any great concerns. (The white lettering means they can go faster I believe... lol) Seem to hang in well but all new tyres normally do. There are lots of previous info re these tyres if you search the forum.
Whatever way you go I hope it works out. I am certain a lot depends on the way you treat and care for your tyres.

Rgds

I agree with you fully. I bought my Patrol 2nd hand with Hwy terrain geolanders 60% worn....they have got me in and around Fraser and numerous bush tracks through forests (including rocky ones) with no problems. Whilst it probably isn't recomended it does suggest that driving accordng to the conditions with care will get you where you want to go most of the time. With this in mind I can't wait for a decent set of all terrains with the extra grip and ability!!!

Thanks

Hi,
I’ve done over 58,000km on my D694’s in LT 265/75 and I’d say they were less than half warn. So far, no punctures and we’ve done many outback roads/trips with them, but always air down appropriately and regularly rotate all 5 tyres.

I’m heading off to the Simpson Desert/Hay River tomorrow with them on their second Simpson Desert crossing. So far, I couldn’t be happier and will get them again. They're very quiet and work well in sand.

Would like to try the 694 LT Bridgestone but apparently they
dont make a 694LT in 17 inch to suit the later model Landcruiser.
Apparently only a 694 is available in 17inch and not the 694LT.
Have heard they may be producing the LT in 17inch later this year. Will wait and see.

Have had 285/75/16's on the car for about 35,000 kms. About half worn, no punctures, air down on the beach and the bush as required, good all around tyre. I would have another set.

Regards,

Paul

We got some of the new 694LTs put onto our Patrol in Broome and since then have done the Gibb River, Bungles track, JimJim and twin Falls, and also the Mereenie loop road with no punctures. We had to change the tyre size slightly (275/75/16 from 275/70/16) to make sure that we got the LT, but couldn't be happier. THese are the new 10 ply rated LTs and can agree that they are very quiet on the road.

Cheers,

Chris

Forgot to say we paid $290 each for 5 new tyres. Should have been 320 apparently, but that was in Broome
