Hi B.P.L. will be fitting Dtronic to my 3.0l turbo HiLux tomorrow or wednesday, I have looked through the web site and read the feed back seems like a good thing. By the way ARB dealers have them on special at the moment from Safari so arms could probably be twisted! I will report on this forum when i have tried it over a couple of tankfulls
Regards Ken.

Hi . Fitted it up last night, initial impression is good , it'not lay you back in the seat type improvement but low to mid range torque has improved significantly vehicle feels more flexible and will handle a gear higher around town. Will report on fuel economy and off road performance later.

I think that is about the price ,I did a little better as in the trade, story is Safari want to get a fewout there and are offering dealers special deal if they buy two, you may do $100 or so bette than that.

You had better hope nothing ever goes wrong with it, Safari Systems, Airpower Systems have many dealers that will reveal that warranty and labour under warranty is hard to get from the manufacturer, (NOT ARB)

Allyn,

You say "voids insurnace" or do you mean voids new car warranty.

I hope that fitting just a Dtronic unit would not void my insurance policy. Perhaps it depends on the particular insurance company.
