Hi
Can anyone please tell me why a catch can should be fitted on the zd30 lt patrols ? I notice Chaz has a air/oil separator fitted to his if they are recommended could someone send instructions on how to fit, Chaz if you view this thread how is the air/oil separator working out and what do you do with the oil when you empty it ? do you discard it or put it back in the motor as I notice on another thread that someone put a pot scourer in the bottom of his would'nt contaminate the oil ?
Cheers Lyle

Suggest you do a search on the Patrol
forum....there has been oodles of info written on there about catch cans....how to set them up with steel wool inside....where to mount them.....why to mount them etc etc
Here is just one thread from recent times....but heaps more available

Think you might find that the pot scourer is one those stainless steel wool types. The surface area assists in the oil condensing out from a vapour.
