The 'daily update' of fuel prices seems to be out of date. The great majority of prices have not been updated since 10th July. Are the automatic updates no longer done?

Not so automatic, requires individual members to log changes, everyone is away. Go for yur life if you have a place in Oz in wish to log the prices for.

I suggest you look at "Topics - Fuel prices "and If you see what I see it will be as follows:

Nationwide fuel prices are shown in tables by state name. Automatic price updates occur daily from official sources, however additional locations not currently managed by the daily update can be added (and maintained) by members of the public using the interactive interface.

Am I wrong in reading it this way, if so I humbly apologise. If I'm not would you care to apologise.

No apology as the "National" prices are updated automatically but the other list of fuel prices (the one with all the detail not just a state wide thing) is maintained and updated by members as stated. Some memebers try to be helpful others try try to belittle anyone else. Your decision as to which you wish to be.

If you are so keen to monitor fuel prices, there are heaps of sites available that do so on a regular basis. I really don't know what the pre-occuoation with prices is all about. If it costs a $1.70 or so in the city then you can expect to pay considerably more in country and even more in outback areas. If you want to travel then you have to pay the price - whatever it may be. So put your minds to something a little more creative and constructive, you obviously have too much spare time on your hands.
