TYRE SELECTION

Darryl I have similar tyres on my camping trailer never have a problem but as far as availavility on remote areas std tyres are easier i lived in the kimberleys and was always harder to buy non std tyres,also i found that real luggy tyre can get chopped by the stones a bit easier but its a trade off between grip and mileage.hope this is of some help,RGS JOE

did same trip back in 98 running on [ dunlop overlander 15x31x10r] which are not a very luggy tyre either had no troubles just take it easy and watch your tyre pressures and have a good trip you will enjoy it

luke,she went like a charm.had heaps of power when required. averaged 9.1 km/ltr over 8000 km towing the trailer.No mechanical problems bar a side step rattling loose.1 flat tyre due to box thorn.Pay paticular attention to your suspention and tyres on both trailer and ute.I seen 4 seperate trailers with springs / axil completely destroyed . shocks and coil much more forgiving on corrigations.
